Ægishjálmur ("The Helm of Awe" or "The Helm of Terror") is an Icelandic magical stave. Its purpose is protection and irresistibility in battle, but it also stills wrath and can be used to bring love. Algiz, one of the strongest runes, is the primary rune in construction of Ægishjálmur, as well as Vegvísir, another well-known Icelandic stave, so-called ''Viking compass''.
This is a strong talisman recommended for followers of Asatru, Norse heathen tradition, and those interested in Seiðr.
The pendant can be pyrographed on cherry or hornbeam wooden slice, and comes with brown cotton cord or hemp cord. Each wooden piece is about 3.5 cm in diameter and every single pendant will look a little different.
